The Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organization and ViniPortugal Launch a Call for Agency for the implementation of a promotional campaign

15 Oct, 2025

The wine sector organizations of both countries are once again joining forces in a European program to promote awareness of their wines — this time targeting the markets of the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland.

The Spanish Wine Interprofessional Organization (OIVE) and ViniPortugal have launched a call for the selection of an Implementing Body to manage and execute a new program co-funded with European funds.
Under the name BAC.EU (Building Awareness, Cultivating Trust: EU Quality Wines from Spain & Portugal), this new international promotional campaign will be mainly aimed at HoReCa professionals and specialized media in the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland.
The program will run for three years (2026–2028), with a total budget of €4,067,265.80 and a subcontracted amount of €3,722,141.00. It is co-financed by the European Union under Regulation No. 1144/2014 (Promotion of Agricultural Products) and has been approved within the 2025 Multi-Country Program Call.
OIVE and ViniPortugal previously implemented a European program titled “A Shared Passion” (2022–2025), which achieved excellent results in showcasing the winemaking quality and tradition of both producing countries among European consumers and professionals
Agencies interested in participating in this new program have until November 15, 2025, at 23:59 to submit the required documentation, as indicated in the briefing, to the following email addresses: info@oive.org / internacional@oive.org
